To anyone facing this kind of surgery, I hope this is reassuring. I recently had MHOS surgery for a nasal BCC, in the care of Dr Al-Rawi, Solihull Hospital, And Dr Anari, Heartlands Hospital. I've had no previous experience of hospital treatment, so I was quite anxious, firstly, how successful the medical outcome would be, secondly the final physical appearance. I'm happy, relieved, and confident about the medical outcome, the physical appearance, it's healing nicely, most people's post surgical scarring is hidden beneath clothing, but this is (as plain as the nose on your face) I'll never look like Cary Grant again .... but then I never did. I wasn't looking forward to the treatment and I hope that's the end of it .. but it really was an experience that I would not have missed "well almost" it really was very interesting, from first consultation, three operations, and post treatment follow up, Dr Anari has been patient and reassuring. Surgery has been stress free and painless, amazing, even after leaving hospital not one painkiller was needed. Dr Anaris personal attention at all times was appreciated, l couldn't ask for more. My thanks to Dr Al-Rawi, and Dr Anari, and a big thank you to the nurses, theatre staff, and all their colleagues at Solihull and Heartlands Hospitals. Malcolm.

I have never given a review before but felt it was necessary on this occasion. I underwent an open rhinoplasty in October 2018 under Mr Anari. Both Mr Anari and his anesthetist were incredibly helpful and although I had not undergone a general aesthetic before I was put completely at ease and reassured prior to the procedure. It is now several weeks since having the procedure and I am truly delighted with the result. My nose was quite bulbous at the end and also had lost its symmetry showing the difference in the line of cartilage with a lump on one side. Mr Anari has made it look symmetrical again and has smoothed out the lump and uneven cartilage. I have a tiny scar between my nostrils which is fading all the time and is currently just slightly pink. It is barely noticeable after just three and half months. I would highly recommend anyone seeking this procedure to contact Mr Anari.

Mr Anari was absolutely brilliant. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the procedure to me without being condescending and in a language I could understand. He clearly explained the risks and possible benefits from the surgery. Mr Anari and I talked about different options for the surgery and we together agreed on what surgery would be attempted. The whole team at the hospital were amazing. They also explained what was about to happen and were so supportive. No one should want surgery unless they absolutely have to. But if you have to have to I could not recommend anyone better than Mr Anari and his team; they were all amazing. Thank you so much you’ve changed my life. I can at last breath without being in constant pain... Kelly

I found the whole experience of my surgery was not just important to me but the whole surgery team. Which put me at ease. Mr Anari explained to surgery procedure very well and when dealing with myself and other patients seemed to really care about our well being. The surgery itself was quite quick and I did not have much pain after the first two days. The procedure I had was to remove nasal polyps and it has changed my life for the better, I can smell things better, taste more and am getting a much better nights sleep. A big thank you to Mr Anari and his team.
